At the border

Before you cross
How long does Sofia to Thessaloniki take?
About 4 hours for roughly 315 km, plus the time at the Kulata – Promachonas crossing.
Is it faster than the bus?
Usually yes: you leave when you want, from your address, and there is no stop at bus stations. The border queue is the same for everyone.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for the whole car, whatever the number of passengers it can take.
What documents do I need?
A valid passport or ID card accepted by every country on your route. Rules depend on your nationality, so check them before you book.
